This particular work is about helping people understand how to influence those around them through a means of expression that is distinctly and uniquely their own. We will engage in and explore the art and practice of storytelling, and take participants on a journey and through a process where they can start to craft and then practice telling their own stories. What we've put together is essentially an acting workshop, where improvisation and theatre training techniques are used to help participants step out of their comfort zones, enhance their own personal presence and develop their own unique voice - and practice using the power of narrative to connect to others in far deeper and more purposeful ways.
These storytelling and Leadership Presence sessions require actors/actresses/facilitators who can improvise, project thought, feeling and emotion, and who can demonstrate their acting skills to and for an audience who are learning how to break down their own personal barriers and how to authentically communicate with presence.
We are currently interviewing actors/actresses all over the world (but require a talent pool based in California) to help run and lead these sessions. The content you will be delivering will be managed and directed by a lead facilitator (who will drive and support each session), there will be an easy to follow session structure, and acting/improvisation skills will be at the forefront of how these sessions are delivered. We are seeking individuals who are looking to supplement their acting vocation and income/earnings with this stimulating and transformative (and potentially lucrative) flexible work opportunity.
Sessions will take place as and when demand dictates and a session has been secured – although there will be a significant number of working opportunities throughout the year. A talent pool of actors will be on standby and will be chosen if their primary acting schedules allow, and according to how many facilitators are needed.
This opportunity is a chance for actors/actresses to be part of a dynamic new startup, build a potentially long standing working relationship, and earn a significant side income while continuing to pursue and manage acting roles and their acting careers.
Please apply if interested or if you’re curious to hear more about the role and opportunity.
