Voiceover & Radio

The Indigenous Network (TIN) is developing a mini-series for children ages 0-6 years old that will be accessible online. The mini-series is linked to TIN’s early years centre, which is currently not operating due to COVID-19 restrictions, and this is the key reason why the online mini-series is being created.

The script for the mini-series is written by an Ojibwe Screen Writer. The series focuses on a fictional Ojibwe family (grandmother, grandfather, and their two grandchildren) and demonstrates lessons that are easily understood by toddlers, while incorporating various Indigenous cultures across Canada.

TIN is looking for an Indigenous actors to provide the voice-overs for the grandson character (9 years old) in the mini-series. Approximate length of each episode is ten minutes long, with very simple dialogues. Although the main characters in the series are Ojibwe, their culture will not be the focus of this series. The episodes are intended to be as geographically representative and inclusive as possible, incorporating aspects of various Indigenous cultures across Canada.
