Since founding Pukka Presenting in 2003 Kathryn has trained thousands of presenters for live events and video, launching hundreds of TV presenting careers. Her TV success stories include Julia Chatterley, CNN Anchor; Seema Jaswal, presenter BBC Sport; David McClelland, BBC Rip Off Britain Technology Reporter; Sita Thomas, presenter C5’s Milkshake; Kerry Boyne, presenter CITV’s Scrambled, and many presenters promoting their brands online including @micaelareis (149K Insta followers) @flowerona (44.8K Insta followers) and @thelondonwinegirl (15.1K Insta followers).
Previously Kathryn was a BBC trained TV director with over 20 years of experience at BBC and ITV - directing credits include BBC News and Current Afffairs, The Clothes Show, Teletubbies and Tweenies. Kathryn was Course Leader TV Production and Senior Lecturer Media Performance at University of Bedfordshire for 12 years, and is author of two leading text books So You Want to be a TV Presenter? (Nick Hern Books) and The TV Presenter’s Career Handbook (Focal Press).
Kathryn is TV presenting tutor at The Actors Centre (2004 to date) and City Lit Adult Education College (2005 to date), currently teaching online courses for both institutions.
