Reflecting on the title of the film ‘A Reversal of Fortune’, I will create a concept based on a modern film noir with a non-diegetic narrative. The narrative will consist of the main protagonist, James, being given his final eviction notice by a council worker. We see James mulling over the letter which he has been given for a short while until he tries to get rid of his feelings towards this news by turning on the TV to watch the lottery. He takes out the lottery numbers which had been in his pocket and comes to the realisation that the figures on his ticket and the tv, match. The film ends with James celebrating the sudden turn of events, much to his desire.
This is a 1 minute film noir without dialogue. Little experience require. As this project is for university, it will be unpaid.

James is a 25 year old man, living in his own house. Due to being in a minimum wage paying job, he struggles to keep up with his rent resulting in the majority of his furniture being taken away, leaving him with minimal furnishings. Due to his struggles, he has little motivation for anything including his appearance, which is also quite shabby.
Anyone, aged 21 to 98
