I've done a lot of children performances at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre, took part of the big musical of their opening season called Our Day Out as community chorus. At Oldham college played main roles in musicals of Little Shop of Horrors (The Dentist + small roles) and Treasure Island (Parrot for both casts) . At University of Chester, I've finished my Performing Arts BA degree which has allowed me to develop in more detail what I had explored at Oldham College, but also turn those skills into more professional training and focus on how to work in the industry.
University of Chester has also given me technology skills in light rigging and in sound operation. It has also allowed me to experience the facilitation side of the industry, on how to deliver, create and target the audience with workshops. I'm also trained in film editing and stage design.
Productions I have worked on with the university have been Midsummer Nights Dream as Puck and multiroled in an adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days such as Narrator. I also produced 3 productions of my own on my last academic year, I did a game show that I called "Do You Know More than a Foreigner", it was a game show where I applied the idea of foreigners having to know more than the actual British citizens to be able to remain in the country. I also created a short film called Les Marquitos which also became a 10 minute stand up comedy show with hints of forum theatre about the customers and retail workers and I created a self portrait play called Adore or Hate, a 50minute musical that referred to family's verbal and mental abuse with romantic/misunderstanding issues.
I've also done a lot of Party Entertainment for the company of Lollymania Mascots, played mostly Spiderman and led a lot of projects by hosting on my own.
I also done a Set Ready Course with the National Youth Film Academy.
