My personal experience goes back over 35 years. I started playing bass when I was 14 years old, and joined a cabaret band performing in pubs and clubs throughout S.Wales. At 19 I moved to London to work as a professional musician in an originals band supporting many famous names at well-known venues (The Marquee, The Venue) and recording in some of the nation's finest recording studios (eg Olympic Studios, Barnes). I also carried out session work whilst living in London. Since moving to Liverpool, I have worked with a number of live bands, playing a variety of venues throughout the North West. I played upright bass for a Liverpool country band that toured The Netherlands and performed at a number of country festivals, including the famous Maverick Festival. I have also played bass (upright and U-Bass) for a well known singer who had a residency at the Rubber Soul Club in Mathew Street, and recently recorded with ex Alarm guitarist, Dave Sharp. I also perform backing vocals. I am currently a member of a successful covers band gigging throughout the North West, but I am looking to broaden my horizons with a new challenge.
