Was born in Toronto Ont Nov 7th 1940. Raised in North Bay Ont
and loved the country life Learned to play the guitar at 7 years old
played professionaly ever since. Starting along with R dean Taylor
motown writer A&r man. Don and dean formed a band and recorded
The highschool dance back in the early 50 s. Don then met up with
Ray Smith of the rockin little angles and was his lead guitar player in
the 1960s. Donald E Doyle played lead guitar on major record labels. Played shows with Jim Reeves Hank snow The ventures and more. Don
still plays to this day and is known as
THUNDER ROAD BAND.
