Goldie Soetianto wins the $1000 Film School Competition. |

We are very pleased to announce the winner of our 2009 Student Film Competition. Goldie attends QUT (Queensland University of Technology) Kelvin Grove campus - BFA (Film & TV) She placed a casting call at the start of 2009 for her experimental short film and cast StarNow actress Maddy Smith.
"When I was looking for actors for my short student film, I had heard about StarNow from some students in the grade above me. I had so many applicants, and finally found one that suited the role perfectly! Winning this prize is exactly what I needed, because I'm in my final year of film study at QUT and I'm about to direct a 10 minute documentary, as well as start building some amazing sets for drama. There will be many more films to come!" Goldie.
