Lovecraft 21C Productions and Fierce Pixie Films are currently casting an independent feature film to be shot in Sydney, starting mid-May.
This is an Australian / US co-production, and an excellent opportunity to work with award winning filmmakers, and the team behind Australia's leading genre specific film festivals: A Night of Horror International Film Festival and Fantastic Planet Film Festival.
The film is a character driven, supernatural thriller / horror. Violent and controversial in parts. It deals with religious and adult themes.
Synopsis:
Desperate to escape the supernatural visions that haunt her, a young woman falls prey to a fanatical cult that plans to transform her life forever. The film is a twisting supernatural thriller, tinged with a Seventies style horror sensibility that brings to mind such genre classics as THE WICKER MAN and ROSEMARY'S BABY.
